Sui Southern Gas announces load shedding for industries of Sindh
KARACHI: The Sui Southern Gas Company has announced load shedding from 50-100 percent for captive power plants and non-exporting industries from June 22 till further notice.
In a press release, issued here, the Sui Southern Gas Company has said that it was facing severe shortage from its fields but despite that the company continued supplying the commodity. However, following the ATA (Annual Turn-Around) of Kunar Pasaki Deep for 21 days, the situation has worsened for domestic consumers that are the top priority.
Against this backdrop, 50 percent load management is being undertaken for captive power plants while 100 percent reduction in gas supply would be carried out for non-exporting industries, it added. The load management would start from June 22 till further notice.
