FLINTSHIRE: A man has been charged after two police officers were injured when they were called to a domestic incident.
One officer suffered a broken wrist and was spat on while another was bitten several times after being called to the incident in Shotton, Flintshire, at about 1.30am on Saturday, a spokesman for North Wales Police said. Both officers were taken to hospital.
Philip Jason Higgins, 39, of Green Lane, Shotton, was charged with two counts of assaulting an emergency worker and one count of criminal damage, after a police car window was damaged, the force spokesman said. He was remanded in custody to appear before Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on Monday
