Iranians living in Pakistan cast vote to elect new president

Islamabad: Iranians living in Pakistan Friday participated in the 13th presidential election of their homeland, says a press release.
The polling stations for the election were set up in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta while those Iranians who were living in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had to travel to Islamabad to cast their votes, said Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan in his message released here.
Despite the threat of the coronavirus, a large number of Iranians cast their ballots by completely following the standard operations procedures against COVID-19.
According to the board of the executive and supervisory boards, the voting started at 8:00 a.m. and continued till 6:00 p.m. at all the four polling stations.
