Campaign against water wastage

Rawalpindi:Chaklala Cantonment on the direction of Station Commander Brigadier Ijaz Qamar Kayani has launched water preservation campaign, says a press release.

In this regard, Anjuman-e-Shehryan will fully cooperate in the campaign against misuse and illegal use of water and to prevent the rights of others by inculcating the habit of using water as per the need.

These views were expressed by Zahid Bakhtawari, chairman Anjuman Shehryan Rawalpindi Registered in a statement. He said that he salutes the campaign against illegal use of water in Chaklala Cantonment on the direction of Station Commander Brigadier Ijaz Qamar Kayani.

He said that in Cantonment water is being wasted by illegal hydrants, suction pumps in houses and using jet nozzles without recycling system in service stations. Water reserves must be protected by making it a habit to use water as per the need taking care of the others, the nation and future generations. In these circumstances, it is everyone’s moral and legal duty to minimise the use of nature’s blessing .
