Fake news
The present number of active coronavirus cases is still a cause of concern. This horrible situation, however, is not because of the virus alone. Our carelessness is one of the reasons why we haven’t been able to eradicate the virus from our country. People in our country immediately fall for rumours that are widespread on social media. These days, many people are sharing misleading posts about the Covid-19 vaccine. Such conspiracy theories are making it difficult for the government to carry out its vaccination campaign. Those people who are sharing these posts are playing with the lives of people. If people refuse to get vaccinated, our economy will get affected. We need to fight against these rumours. Covid-19 cases will continue to increase unless a majority of people get vaccinated and take all precautionary measures. We should also discourage and take strict action against those people who are spreading these rumours.
