3,271 ticketed for SOPs breach

LAHORE:The City Traffic Police Lahore Sunday issued 3,271 challan tickets to the drivers for driving without face masks.

Twenty-four public service vehicles were also shut down for violating corona SOPs. In the third wave of corona, police challaned a total of 424,000 vehicles. Meanwhile, 80 cases of violation of corona SOPs in public transport were also registered. Around 3,653 public service vehicles were impounded for violating the corona SOPs and tickets were issued to 288,000 motorcycles.
