Power tariff may increase by Rs5 per unit

ISLAMABAD: In order to evolve consensus with the IMF, the government would have to hike power tariff by Rs5 per unit in the coming fiscal year.
The hike in power tariff was one of the major demands by the IMF, which the government has been refusing to implement so far, but if both sides achieved some breakthrough the power tariff would have to be increased.
