Man shot dead by ‘friend’

LAHORE:A 30-year old man was shot dead by his friend in the Batapur police limits on Wednesday. Imran alias Mana had an exchange of words with his friend Sherry. The suspect infuriated by words opened fire. As a result, the victim received bullet injuries and died. Police were searching for the suspects. Driver’s helper dies in accident A 22-year old truck driver’s helper died in a road accident in the Sanda police limits on Wednesday.

The victim Shah Nawaz, 22, was sleeping under a truck when another truck passed nearby it. It touched a heavy role loaded on the truck that fell down on the victim. Police removed the body to morgue.

Man dies: A 20-year old man died under suspicious circumstances in Johar Town on Wednesday. The victim Ali Zafar went outside with his friends where ate something. Afterwards his condition deteriorated. He was shifted to hospital where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.

FOUND DEAD: A four-year old boy was found dead in Chuhng on Wednesday. Victim Hassan went outside his home on Tuesday to buy sweets from a nearby shop. When he did not return for quite a sometime his family called police. On Wednesday, his body was recovered from a drain. Police removed the body to morgue.

ELECTROCUTED: A truck driver died when the vehicle touched electric wires. The victim was driving a truck in Raiwind when the vehicle touched electric wires. He received an electric shock and was shifted to hospital where he died. He was identified as Azizullah, a resident of Moranwali.
