KU cancels four admissions

The University of Karachi on Friday announced that it had cancelled the admissions of four students for submitting forged documents.

According to KU Directorate of Admissions Dr Saima Akhtar, supporting admission documents submitted by four candidates were sent to the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) for verification after which they were declared fake.

She said a student named Falak Siddiqui had submitted a tampered marks sheet to get admission in the Department of Public Administration. Similarly, Muhammad Ossama Naimee had submitted a forged marks sheet for admission in the Department of Public Administration.

Dr Akhtar added that the marks sheet of Shahbaz Shakil Khan was also found to be forged for admission in the Department of Public Administration. His admission form number was 363138.

Akin to that, Syeda Hajrah Baseer had also submitted a forged marks sheet to get admission in the Health Physical Education and Sports Sciences Department. Her admission form number was 367148, Dr Akhtar added.
