KARACHI: The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) and Ministry of Information Technology (MoIT) jointly arranged five-day training for women on Android Development & Augmented Reality as part of m-entrepreneurship for women programme. The objective of the training was to equip potential women entrepreneurs with necessary mobile application development skills, said a statement issued Tuesday.
The training also focused on equipping participants with marketing skills so that they can promote and sell their apps. It aimed at building up mobile app ‘master trainers’ who can go back to their respective areas and carry out similar trainings for future mobile app developers and entrepreneurs.
