US envoy visits Minhajul Quran

LAHORE

American Consul General in Lahore Zeachay Harken Rider and political officer Aric Martin visited Minhajul Quran Secretariat on Monday. 

He was received by Chairman Supreme Council Minhajul Quran Dr Hassan Mohiyuddin Qadri and president federal council Dr Hussain Mohiyuddin Qadri, secretary PAT Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and Muhammad Iqbal. 

The visitors discussed and praised the curriculum against terrorism written by Dr Tahirul Qadri and the decree issued by Dr Tahirul Qadri against terrorism and suicide bombings. They lauded the efforts of the PAT chairman for inter-faith harmony. 

Zeachay Harken Rider said terrorism was not the problem of just one country or one region, but was a global issue and will be solved through collective efforts of all the countries of the world. He said terrorism was a war waged by terrorists and extremists against the whole of humanity and no one in the world was safe from it. He lauded the efforts of Minhaj-ul-Quran for eliminating this menace from the world.

The visitors were given a tour of the secretariat and showed special interest in the Minhaj Welfare. They were given a briefing by the Director, MWF, Syed Amjad Ali Shah and were later briefed by GM Malik Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Farrukh Naz and Muhammad Khan and Noorullah Siddiqui. They were briefed on the working of Minhaj Ambulance Service, Minhaj University, Shariah College, MES, Aghoosh Grammar Schools and Minhaj Welfare Foundation.
