PESHAWAR: As many as 167 degrees were conferred Sunday on the graduates of different disciplines in the 3rd Convocation of Islamia College University (ICU) for the academic session 2014. Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan, who is also the chancellor of the varsity, could not come to preside over the convocation. Vice-Chancellor Ajmal Khan gave away degrees to the graduates. According to Attaullah Khan, controller of examinations, a total six Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), 12 Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and 147 MSc, MA, and BS degrees were conferred on the graduates.
