LAHORE
CCPO Muhammad Ameen Wains has said police will defeat terrorists and the enemies of the country.
Addressing the administrations of different educational institutes lying in A+, A and B categories, he said they presented salute and tribute to martyrs of Army Public School who united the nation and exposed the enemies of the country by accepting martyrdom.
He said foolproof security would be provided to all schools which were going to arrange annual ceremonies in spirit to present tribute to martyrs of Army Public School. He advised all educational institutions to complete security measures and install panic buttons in each and every school. DIG Operations, SP Head Quarters, SP Model Town, SP Mujahid and administrations of more than 400 schools were also there.
The DIG said December 15 would always remember the great sacrifices of innocent children of Army Public School. He said the purpose of this meeting was to give a clear cut message that police were standing with people in war against terrorism and they would not let any terrorist attack any educational institute. Walls of schools should be on specific height.
