Pakistan Day function arranged in Berlin

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s ambassador for Germany Dr Muhammad Faisal has said that Pakistan is a country of resilient nation that has strength to frustrate any attempt to harm its solidarity and unity.

Addressing a reception at Pakistan House in German capital Berlin on the occasion of Pakistan Day, he recalled that a brave son of Pakistan Ali Sadpara conquered one of the highest peak K-2 without artificial oxygen support that none else could think of.

“Our history is filled with heroic acts of our sons who have done wonders. The country has full faith in its people and it ensures a bright future of Pakistan,” Dr Faisal emphasised. The function was attended by embassy staff and officials, few notables of the capital and media persons.

Dr Faisal raised the national flag in the outset that was followed by plying of national anthem. The messages of the president and prime minister issued on the day was read out. Dr Faisal said that March 23 reminds the world that Muslims of South Asia created a Muslim country at the face of innumerable odds in seven years.
