Minister of State for CADD Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary said red tape was a big hurdle to the capital’s progress, so he along with his team, would strive to get rid of the menace.
He was speaking to heads of all departments working under CADD in his office here.
The minister sensitised the top management of the attached departments about the task he was given by the prime minister as the CADD minister.
He said he was born and brought up in Islamabad and therefore, he was well aware of the problems faced by the local residents.
“I belong to this city and therefore I know its problems inside out,” he said.
The minister said he was entrusted with the great responsibility of capital’s development and therefore, huge expectations were pinned in him.
“These expectations can be fulfilled through team work. We will collectively take this responsibility as a challenge,” he said.
