Senior journalist dies

Senior sub-editor of Daily Waqt Mazhar Husain Joya was found dead in his house on Thursday morning. He belonged to Piplan village in Mianwali. He was alone in his house and was found dead by neighbours. Police were informed who sent the body for postmortem. No immediate cause of death was known. Later, his body was handed over to the family. Funeral prayers for him will be held in Piplan village in Mianwali at 8am on Friday morning. —Correspondent
