Ayyan couldn’t get her passport as judge was on leave

RAWALPINDI. The customs duty judge, Rawalpindi, Sabir Sultan refused to hand over the passport of Ayyan Ali, asking the fashion model to submit surety bonds with the concerned special customs court (SCC) Judge Rana Aftab Ahmed who was on leave on Saturday.
Ayyan reached the court on time but to her disappointment she was informed that the concerned judge was on leave.
The duty judge also refused to accept the surety bonds of Ayyan and stated that the model could only get her passports from the trial court. Earlier on Wednesday, the customs court ordered to return Ayyan’s passport.
The court while directing the custom officials to return the passport ordered Ayyan to submit two surety bonds worth Rs100,000 each along with a personal guarantee.
Ayyan Ali looked tense in the Rawalpindi District Court after learning that Judge Rana Aftab Ahmed was on leave.
