Iqbal Day celebrated at FJWU

Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) arranged a seminar on 138th birth anniversary of Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
The theme of the seminar was ‘Iqbal Ka Aqal aur Tasawar Ishq- Aik Khas Nashist.’ The chief guest of the seminar was FJWU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Samina Amin Qadir and Slahiyudin Darwesh. The ceremony starts with the recitation of Holly Quran. Dr Bushra Chuhan Head of Urdu Department introduced the honorable guest and started the ceremony with Iqbal’s poetry. While talking to the audience Mr. Darwesh emphasised on the convictions and thoughts of Iqbal. Mr. Darwesh focused on self-actualisation and realisation to grow further for humanity, sophism and spirituality.
To end up the ceremony Dr. Qadir pays her gratitude to the efforts of Urdu Department for paying tribute to Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal by arranging this seminar. She also gave a vote of thanks to the honorable speaker Mr. Darwesh for his contribution in informing and educating the young generation about Iqbal’s mesmerizing poetry and thought-provoking ideas. She also advised audience to make it habit to read Iqbal’s poetry daily. University souvenir was presented to Mr. Darwesh.
