MANSEHRA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman Thursday said that the army and other institutions should not be afraid of mosques and madaris as the bearded men wearing turbans would fight alongside the military against any enemy.
Speaking at a public gathering in Chattarplain, he said the people who were trying to weaken the ideological foundations of the country were being hugged and those ready to sacrifice their lives for the defence of Pakistan were considered an enemy. He also asked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to clarify his position on using the word ‘liberal’ for Pakistan.
The JUI-F chief alleged that the United States was out to capture the economic resources of the Muslim world in the name of the war on terrorism.
