NAB has arrested Ch Muhammad Ramzan, president Tehsil Bar Tandlianwala, District Faisalabad in a raid.
According to a NAB spokesman, the accused was arrested in the presence of a judicial magistrate. The accused had been pretending to be a lobbyist on behalf of the NAB.
The accused had been receiving bribe from accused persons involved in different cases under process in NAB on different occasion on fake promises of getting their cases solved. The NAB has launched an operation and more arrests are expected.
“The general public is warned not to fall prey to the persons/rackets/groups pretending to be acting on behalf of NAB. People are advised to report the NAB in case they come across any such group/element/incident”, he added.
