Brazilian envoy launches career acceleration programme at MIUC
Islamabad Claudio Lins, newly-appointed Brazilian ambassador, visited Metropolitan International University College (MIUC) here on Thursday and inaugurated Roots International Career Acceleration Programme. Walid Mushtaq, rector of the Metropolitan International University College, along with the students waving Brazilian flags, and faculty members gave a warm welcome to the distinguished guest.

Claudio Lins, newly-appointed Brazilian ambassador, visited Metropolitan International University College (MIUC) here on Thursday and inaugurated Roots International Career Acceleration Programme.
Walid Mushtaq, rector of the Metropolitan International University College, along with the students waving Brazilian flags, and faculty members gave a warm welcome to the distinguished guest.
On the occasion, the envoy talked about cementing and harnessing relationships between Brazil and Pakistan. He also mentioned that the two countries are similar in many ways. He also briefed that how the young generations can be a part to improve the quality of education.
Speaking on the occasion, MIUC Rector Walid Mushtaq said “Roots International Career Acceleration Program (RICAP) empowers students and alumni to translate their academic foundation, regardless of major or background, into professional success. Through industry-specific training, global networking connections, and opportunities to put a world-class education into practice, RICAP is helping students embark upon successful futures. RICAP engages students in National and International corporate and social development projects that are often tailored to identify the individuals who have the drive and determination to take on new challenges! Students are provided with the opportunities to gain new skills by working on key projects & gaining edifying experiences.”
He also mentioned that Metropolitan International University College is changing the national education landscape, beyond the classroom teaching and learning initiatives, teacher training programs, qualifications, results, achievements, thus promoting ‘social change’ and ‘community re-engineering’. The foundations of our perspective at MIUC are the things we have always stood for celebrating, diversity, creativity, vitality& excellence.
Mr. Claudio said that he was extremely impressed with students and the immense talent potential of the university. He emphasized that the institute is truly depicting a modern image of Pakistan where every student is the perfect cosmopolitan, multi-cultural representative of the nation.
