Educationist laid to rest

JHANG: Professor Azhar Khan Sial, who was shot dead by robbers the other day, was laid to rest at his native village here on Tuesday.
Director Public Instructions Colleges Punjab Prof Khalid Javed, Director Colleges Faisalabad Division Rana Munawar, Deputy Director Colleges Jhang Sharif Khan Baloch, staff and students of the college and people from different walks of life attended the funeral. On the call of Punjab Professors and Lecturers Association (PPLA) district chapter, all teachers of colleges of the district boycotted classes in protest against the killing of Prof Sial. They passed resolutions, urging the relevant authorities to arrest the killers.
