TOBA TEK SINGH: PTI Punjab organiser Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar Monday said the party discipline violation regarding the local government polls would not be tolerated.
Talking to the party candidates for the local government elections at the residence of PTI district organiser Major (retd) Ahmad Nawaz at Pirmahal, Sarwar said action would be taken against all those who were contesting election against party ticket holders.
He said all party tickets were awarded on pure merit in the district and PTI will sweep the polls on Nov 19. He said the PTI had collected all proofs of the NA-122 election and now ball was in the court of the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Sarwar said the PTI workers were being killed in targeted killing and if justice was not delivered to their families, the PTI will continue protests and sit-in.
He said if any of his relative was contesting election in Pirmahal against the PTI, he will not support him. He urged the PTI activists to shrink their differences in the vast interest of the party to support the party ticket holders in the district.
Several PTI workers complained to Sarwar regarding issuance of the party tickets in violation of merit.
