Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Pakistan Navy (PN) are continuing their relief activities with full zeal and zest dispatching more goods and medical teams to earthquake-affected areas.
The relief activities of PAF and PN are addition to some extraordinary rescue and relief work being carried out by Pakistan Army.
Two PAF C-130 aircraft carrying relief goods for the earthquake affected areas of Chitral landed at Chitral on Thursday. One of the C-130 aircraft airlifted approximately 18,000 pounds of dry ration, which was donated by Pakistan Air Force.
The relief goods comprising flour, rice, pulses, oil, milk, tea and sugar were airlifted for Chitral. The other C-130 aircraft airlifted approximately 16,000 pounds of relief goods donated by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) for the earthquake affectees of Chitral.
