A six-year-old girl was tortured to death allegedly by his father and stepmother in the Iqbal Town police limits on Tuesday.
Police have removed the body to morgue for autopsy and registered an FIR No. 1376/15 against the accused persons named Khuram and Ghania, residents of Kashmir Park. The deceased child was identified as Aleeshba.
Complainant Khadija told police that her daughter got up late at night to go to washroom. This infuriated his father who beat her badly due to which she fell unconscious. She was shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced her as brought dead.
