KARACHI: Pakistan lost their last match in the Sultan Johor junior hockey tournament against Australia by 5-0 on Sunday.
Thus, they stood sixth in the six-nation tournament. Australia got the fifth position.
Ali Haider, who was entrusted the task of goalkeeping for the whole of the match failed to show much potential.
Pakistan played the entire match under pressure due to the poor show of the goalkeeper and the defenders.
England won the tournament after defeating India in the final in penalty shootout.
Malaysia got the third and Argentina the fourth position. Pakistan team will return home on Monday (today).
