Restaurant tax

People visiting restaurants should insist on NTN (National Tax Number) and STN (Sales Tax Number) on their receipts and should not pay sales tax if restaurant owners fail to mention the two numbers.
There have been reports of restaurants taking back sales tax after being asked to show the NTN or STN. Many restaurants take sales tax from customers but do not file it. The authorities concerned should also take action.
