Cancellation of interviews for posts protested

MINGORA: The candidates for the job of tehsil secretaries on Monday staged a protest against the cancellation of interviews for the posts and asked the government to withdraw the decision.
They were holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the decision. The protesters gathered outside the Swat Press Club.
The speakers said the government held test for the posts of secretaries through National Testing Service (NTS). They said later the government cancelled the interviews of the candidates, who had qualified the test. They said the government ordered to hold a fresh test for the posts through NTS, which they said was injustice. They said the decision has disappointed the aspirants.
The protesters asked the government to uphold merit and conduct the interviews of the candidates, who qualified the test.
