Owners of private schools booked

LAKKI MARWAT: Area police have booked over two-dozen heads and owners of private schools for poor security arrangements at their educational institutions.
Following the directives of DPO Ali Akbar Shah, the station house officers and subordinate police officials paid inspection visits to the schools and checked security arrangements,” said an official on Saturday. He said the security arrangements at the schools were not up to the mark and satisfaction.
“The poor security measures show that the lives of enrolled students and teachers posted at the schools is at risk,” he maintained. He said that after terrorist attack on Army Public School in Peshawar the district police authorities had held several meetings with the heads of schools regarding security arrangements at the educational institutions.
