KHAR: The students of a state-run college Tuesday staged a protest and demanded the political administration to shift them to the new building of the Government Degree College in Barkhalozo. They were holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of their demands. The protesters gathered in Inayat Killay bazaar and blocked the road for traffic for an hour. The speakers said the construction work of the building of Government Degree College in Barkhalozo had been completed. They said that the classes for the students were being held at the building of the Technical College, which they said lacked facilities and capacity to accommodate huge number of students. Later, the protesting students reopened the road and dispersed peacefully.
