BATKHELA: The number of dengue patients jumped to 136 as 26 more cases of dengue were detected here on Saturday.
Talking to reporters, Dr Tanveer Inam, in-charge dengue ward in Agency Headquarters Hospital in Batkhela, said that the number of dengue patients raised to 136 as 26 more suffering from dengue fever were shifted to the hospital.
He said that the authorities of the Health Department had taken preventive measures to control dengue virus including fumigation in the area. Dengue would soon be controlled, he added.
