Bail granted to 151 horse race gamblers

Rawalpindi: The Civil Judge Rawalpindi Muhammad Arif Khan Niazi Thursday granted bail to all 151 people arrested for betting on horse race in a private housing society on Wednesday.
In total police had arrested 159 people but eight juveniles present on the occasion were handed over to their parents on surety bonds. Former chairman Amarpura Raja Shahid alias Papu, Incharge Chowki Raniyal Imtiaz Hussain and entire staff of police Chowki Raniyal were patronising the Horses Race at the residential housing society with mutual connivance.
Taking notice of police connivance with horse race gamblers SHO (Sadar Beiruni) police and the entire staff of Raniyal police Chowki were also suspended.
