300 food packages distributed to special children
MARDAN: A foreign organization, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), has distribute 300 food packages among special children at Center for Speech and Hearing, here on Tuesday,
Muhammad Anees, the technical officer of TIKA, he said that, the Turkish people have always supported Pakistan in trying times. “Not only Pakistan but the whole world faces coronavirus threat nowadays, and in this crisis, government of Turkey has come forward to help their Pakistanis through TIKA activities,” he added.He also said that TIKA had distributed 50,000 surgical masks in different hospitals in South Punjab and 300 ration packages to the daily wage workers’ families in Lahore.
“Today, in collaboration with Centre for Speech and Hearing Mardan, TIKA has distributed 300 food packages to the families being badly affected by the virus in the district,” he added. He said that TIKA will also provide medical equipment to Rajab Tayyab Erdogan
Hospital, constructed by the organization in Muzaffargarh.
At the ceremony, Member of National Assembly (MNA) Shaheen Saifullah Khan Toru thanked to Turkish government and TIKA and said the Turkey government always helped Pakistani people in any difficult situations.
