PU discusses online classes, LLB exams
LAHORE: Punjab University (PU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmad on Tuesday chaired an online meeting of the affiliated law colleges for conducting online classes and examinations of LLB.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Saleem Mazhar, Registrar Dr Muhammad Khalid Khan, principals and representatives of affiliated law colleges participated in the meeting.
On the suggestions made by all the representatives, the PU administration made several decisions to minimise the time loss of the students due to coronavirus pandemic. The PU VC extended all possible help to conduct online classes to the colleges and keeping in view the difficulty faced by the colleges in completion of courses, it was decided that the old syllabi/course of reading for LLB 5-year (1st year) would be followed as per previous practice for the current session and the examination of LLB will be held in first week of August via online system. The paper will be conducted online after getting approval from the relevant forum. The pattern of paper along with sample paper will be uploaded at PU official website soon. A mock exam to train the students for making them familiar with the online examination system will also be conducted before final exam.
