Two bullet-riddled bodies were found from two different locations in the city on Thursday.
The decomposed body of a man who appeared to be in his 30s was found in a nullah near Rais Goth Situated in Baldia Town, within the remit of Saeedabad police station.
Passersby found the body and informed the police. A mobile van of the Saeedabad police station shifted it to the Civil Hospital Karachi where the medic-legal officer concerned revealed that the man bore torture marks and three bullet wounds.
The police suspect that the deceased was first kidnapped and later killed after which his body was dumped to avoid suspicion.
Another unidentified body of a man who appeared to be in his 20s was found in the Lyari River, within the remit of Pak Colony police station. It was also taken to Civil hospital where the medico-legal officer concerned said the body bore two bullet wounds and torture marks. The police believed this victim too was first kidnapped before being murdered.
