Urs celebrations of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar cancelled

SUKKUR: The Sindh government has canceled the 768th annual Urs celebrations of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. On Sunday, Chief Administrator Auqaf Sindh Munawar Mahesar and Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro had laid a floral wreath on the grave of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, inaugurated the 768th annual Urs in a simple manner. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Jamshoro said that the Urs celebration programs have been cancelled due to outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Now the Urs will be celebrated next year.
