NOWSHERA: The Qazi Medical Complex on Tuesday sent swab of five of people, including three nurses, for the coronavirus test, officials said.
DC Shahid Ali Khan and QMC Focal Person for Coronavirus and Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr Zahid Khan said the three male nurses were on duty at the isolation ward of the QMC. A security guard, too, showed the virus symptoms. The tests of two other patients 17-year-old Ihsan and 22-year-old Neesha, daughter of Shiyam Babu of Badrashi who were under treatment at the QMC, were sent as well to confirm if they were suffering from the viral disease. The Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Pabbi sent eight swabs for the coronavirus test. The six among the eight were stated to be the members of the Tablighi Jamaat and two are the Health Department employees. The two Health Department workers were performing duty at the quarantine centre at the University of Engineering and Technology campus at Jalozai in the Nowshera district.
