Karak reports another Covid-19 case

KARAK: Another case of Covid-19 was detected in Isak Chountra Union Council in Karak tehsil, bringing the number of affected patients to five in the district.

According to health officials, one Ataullah Jan, 60, working as a paramedic in a local health centre had tested positive for the coronavirus.

The patient was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Karak and admitted to the Isolation Ward of Covid-19. Assistant Commissioner Karak Abdus Samad visited Dawarkhel village in Isak Chountra Union Council and sealed it. The residents were asked to observe self-quarantine at their houses.

Meanwhile, the deputy commissioner Karak directed the food authorities to ensure the provision of flour to the people at the union council level to restrict their moment to their respective localities.
