5 stabbed, 2 left critical over petty issue

Islamabad: Five persons were stabbed, two critically, over a petty issue in Sahi area near Kahuta. The critically injured were shifted to a hospital in Rawalpindi while the remaining three were admitted in the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Kahuta.

It was learnt that some children got entangled in a quarrel over a petty issue after which the elders also got involved. One Zeeshan took out a knife and attacked those involved in the skirmish, leaving five persons, Muhammad Waseem, Muhammad Haris, Bilal, Owais and Muhammad Haroon, injured with dagger wounds.

After injuring the five youngsters Zeeshan alias Shani fled from the area.

The injured were shifted to the THQ Kahuta for emergency treatment while two with critical injuries were referred to District Headquarter Hospital, Rawalpindi.

The Kahuta Police has registered a case under sections 324 and 34 PPC and have started investigations.
