VEHARI: DPO Sadiq Ali Dogar has asked the candidates of Local Government elections to follow the rules and regulations issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan otherwise violators will be dealt with iron hands.
Addressing a meeting of candidates of the LG polls at the Police Lines, the DPO asked the candidates to convince the people to get votes and refrain from harassing them. He said that if any candidate or his supporter found using loud speaker, display of arms or fireworks, he would be sent behind the bars. The DCO said that if any candidate found guilty of violating rules and regulations, he would be disqualified immediately.
5 INJURED: Five people were injured over a minor dispute at Chak 21/WB on Sunday. All the injured were rushed to the RHC Machiwal.
