Demo against TMA as child falls to death in drain

HAFIZABAD: A four-year-old child was killed after falling into an open drain at Mohallah Mian Da Kot on Sunday.
Mukarram went out of his house and suddenly fell into the open drain. As a result, he died. His body was recovered after two hours.
Meanwhile, a large number of people staged a demonstration against the TMA by placing the child’s body on a road. They chanted slogans against the TMA. They said that the TMA removed covers of a drain during its cleanliness some days ago. They said that the TMA staffers did not place covers on the drain after completing the work.
MILKMAN MURDERED: Three people killed a milkman near Channi Ghulla village on Sunday.
Muhammad Yar was returning to his village from Vanike Tarar when Saifullah, Naveed and an unidentified man allegedly opened fire on him. As a result, he was injured seriously. He was shifted to a Lahore hospital where he died. Muhammad Yar was a witness in a murder case, which was registered against Saifullah and Naveed. Vanike Tarar police have registered a case and started investigation.
Nawaz Sharif to visit Hafizabad on 22nd

HAFIZABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit the city on September 22.
He will address a Kisan convention at Kolo Tarar. Later, he will distribute cheques among the farmers under the agriculture package announced by the PML-N government.
