Mother of Khursheed Abbasi passes away

KARACHI: Mother of senior journalist of Jang Group and Secretary General of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists, Khursheed Abbasi expired in Karachi late on Saturday after a brief illness. She was under treatment at a local hospital for a few days. She was 95.
She was laid to rest in the Mir Hasan graveyard of Khairpur Nathan Shah. The Namaz-e-Janaza and burial were attended by a large of citizens, politicians, journalists, members of the civil society and relatives.
Quraan Khawani for the departed soul will be held on Monday (today) at her residence in Khairpur Nathan Shah.
