GOC Mangla visits Pindigheb

PINDIGHEB: GOC Mangla Major General visited Pindigheb today in connection with preparation to combat the pandemic of Corona virus. His helicopter landed in the ground of Government High School No 1 Pindigheb at 3.30pm.

In Municipal Committee office AC Pindigheb Haider Abbas and Major Ali Commissioner Rawalpindi division briefed him about the steps taken by the local administration to fight against the virus. Major General appreciated the efforts of local authorities and assured that all possible facilities will be provided to health departments in their fight against the virulent disease.

He also visited quarantine centre set up in a local institute and got information about the people kept there.He called the atmosphere of quarantine centre ideal.After a brief stay of 45minutes he left. DSP Malik Tafseer,Dy DHO Dr Manzoor,staff of health department and other government functionaries were also present at the occasion.
