Karachi additional IGP visits police pickets in District East
Karachi police chief Ghulam Nabi Memon visited police pickets in parts of District East on Monday.
The Karachi additional IG was accompanied by zone east DIG Nouman Siddiqui and other senior police officials. The Karachi police chief awarded cash prizes and issued certificates to the policemen deployed at the police pickets in all three districts of east zone, including Malir and Korangi, for combating the novel coronavirus and dealing with the people in a courteous manner during the lockdown.
The Karachi police chief said everybody should be on the same page to combat the novel coronavirus. A day ago, Memon visited police pickets in parts of District South. He was accompanied by south DIG Sharjeel Kharal, traffic DIG Javed Ali Mahar, south SSP Sheraz Nazeer and city SSP Muqaddas Haider. The Karachi police chief had awarded cash prizes and issued certificates to the policemen deployed at the police pickets for their efforts in the present situation. Later, DIG Kharal along with the south SSP visited the police pickets established in parts of the old city. He lauded the policemen deployed there and awarded them with cash prizes.
