BAHAWALPUR: Two suspected patients of coronavirus discharged from the Civil Hospital on Sunday.
It was confirmed by Dr Amir Mehmood Bukhari, Director Emergency Ward Bahawal Victoria Hospital here. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Shozeb Saeed while talking to The News also confirmed about the negative results of Mrs Shazun Nisa, a nurse at the BVH, and her husband.
He told that Muhammad Abubakr of Model Town was admitted to the Civil Hospital as a suspected coronavirus patient.
His samples had been sent to Multan for the test and Abu Bakr family had been quarantined in their house. Two more corona patients are also admitted to the Civil Hospital and their test reports are awaiting.
LOCKDOWN CONTINUES: The lockdown was continued for the sixth consecutive day at Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar districts on Sunday.
All shopping centres, bazaars and shopping malls remained closed. However, the general public seemed unaware of the threat of corona pandemic.
On the other hand, no coronavirus patient having positive report was admitted to the BVH or at the Civil Hospital.
