Hospital MS removed for negligence

GUJRANWALA: Social Security Hospital MS Dr Tayyab Sarwar Mir has been removed from his post for negligence.

Senior Medical Officer Dr Mudassar Iqbal has been given additional charge of the MS. It was told that Dr Tayyab had allegedly referred a corona patient to the DHQ Hospital instead of providing him treatment at the Social Security Hospital. When the matter came into the notice of the higher authorities, the MS was immediately removed from his office.

58 FAIR PRICE SHOPS SET UP: The district administration has set up 49 truck points and 58 fair price shops to overcome artificial shortage of flour in the district.

The citizens could get 20kg flour bags at Rs 805 from there. Speaking here, Deputy Commissioner Sohail Ashraf said that the district administration had prepared a comprehensive plan to provide daily use items to the citizens on control rates. He told that the fair price shops had been established to provide flour to the citizens at the fixed prices of the government. Meanwhile, the DC held a meeting with the Food officers and directed them to ensure the availability of flour bags in all parts of the district. It was told in the meeting that fair price shops and truck points had been set up at Saghir Shaheed Park Nowshera Road, Pindi Bypass, Paka Fato Mund, Chicharwali, Ferozewala Bridge, Shaheenabad, Dhuley Chowk, Sabzi Mandi, Alipur Chowk, Alam Chowk, Kacha Fato Mund, Gondalwala Chowk, Baghbanpura Chowk, Clock Tower Chowk, Awan Chowk, Satellite Town Market, Peoples Colony, Sialkot Bypass and other areas and 20kg flour bag was available at Rs 805 for the citizens.
