Two rapid response centres for coronavirus set up in Khairpur

SUKKUR: The Sindh health department has set up two rapid response centres, including Civil Hospital of Khairpur Medical College and another at the Pir Syed Abdul Qadir Shah Jillani Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, Gambat, to counter any untoward situation in the wake of spreading coronavirus. This was stated by District Health Officer Khairpur Muhammad Hussain Abro. He advised the people to contact these rapid response centres if they needed coronavirus screening. Medical Superintendent Civil Hospital Khairpur Medical College, Dr Kaleemullah Memon, said as many as 40 pilgrims who had returned from Iran and Iraq were quarantined in the isolation wards and the test of seven pilgrims was negative, while others was in the pipeline.
