Two buried alive by landslide

MANSEHRA: Two friends died when their motorbike came under a heavy landslide in Garhi Habibullah area Friday evening. Mohammad Shani and his friend Umar Shah were on way back home in Tori Bowi area from Garhi Habibullah when a heavy landslide from nearby mountains fell on the road, burying them alive.The police and locals rushed to the scene and retrieved the dead after hectic effort of an hour and shifted them to Civil Hospital in Garhi Habibullah where doctors pronounced both of them dead. According to police, land-sliding triggered by heavy rain in the area also blocked link roads in Kaghan and Siran valleys of the district.
