KARACHI: Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) on Sunday closed the PTF Tennis Complex in view of the coronavirus pandemic. “The PTF management has decided that PTF Tennis Complex will remain closed for all the activities including NTC, Pay & Play and other events till further orders.
“However, PTF Secretariat will remain open with limited staff to attend to day to day official matters,” stated Secretary PTF Gul Rehman in an official communication to all affiliated units. This closure will affect National Tennis Academy which was inaugurated in 2017 as PTF’s dream project.
NTA has an effective programme (for juniors) that involves a strict fitness regime and tennis practice, along with developing match strategies. The NTA offers training at various levels, from beginners to intermediate to advanced levels, with a group of other coaches assisting the head pro’s in running different programmes.
