Volunteer programme to combat virus
LAHORE:An NGO has launched a volunteer programme to combate coronavirus. Under the programme, volunteers will be educating communities on precautions against coronavirus. The programme has been launched in different areas of Pakistan to engage the communities and stakeholders to create awareness to protect the people from coronavirus.
Syed Kausar Abbas, executive director of the NGO, said that awareness was the only way to protect the people from coronavirus. He said that instead of creating panic in society, every individual needed to play role in combating coronavirus from society.
He said that there was a need to tackle the situation through collective efforts in society. The campaign for engaging volunteers under the programme to combate coronavirus was launched in different districts of Pakistan to crate awareness among the people about precautions against coronavirus.
